The Five Core Components of the Program
Pre-Placement Guidance
We work with families:
- as they go through the placement process
- helping them understand the marketing language
- helping them to understand what is contained in the contract
- helping them to understand the differences between facility types
- to help them understand what to expect financially and emotionally
Our position is neutral – not paid by facilities, not a salesperson.
Tour Companion (Neutral Bystander)
We attend tours with you to:
- observe
- listen
- notice red flags
- help families ask the right questions
- ensure families are not pressured
- ensure promises are documented
90-Day Post-Placement Verification
This is the part no one else does.
We:
- visit the facility
- observe the resident
- compare reality vs. marketing
- check adjustment
- check staff interactions
- check consistency of care
- identify early warning signs
- report honestly to the family
This is accountability.
Ongoing Monitoring (Quarterly or Annual)
We:
- visit every 90 days (or yearly)
- document findings
- communicate with staff
- report to family
- detect problems early
- verify promises are still being kept
This is peace of mind.
Neutral, Ethical, Non-Medical Oversight
We do not:
- provide care
- manage medications
- create care plans
- replace nurses
- replace social workers
- act as a placement agent
- get paid by facilities
We are the neutral advocate who protects the family’s interests.
Why This Program Exists
Our services reduce:
- risk
- neglect
- unmet expectations
- miscommunication
- placement failures
- family stress
- facility liability
- “ghost service” situations
- early decline due to poor adjustment
This is high-trust, high-value oversight in a high-risk environment.
